KIDS HOUSE Wayne Densch Children’s Advocacy Center

Established in 1999, Kids House Wayne Densch Children’s Advocacy Center is a non-profit, accredited Children's Advocacy Center, providing a child-friendly environment for abuse and neglect victims including: law enforcement response, intake and gentle questioning of children, forensic medical examination, and mental health treatment. These services make Kids House a unique, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary agency for abuse intervention, reducing further trauma to the child.

Kids House has grown in response to the needs of our community's children to a staff of 25 with an annual budget of approximately $1.6 million. Under our Interagency Agreement, Kids House professionals work with the county's seven municipal police departments, Seminole County Sheriff's Office, the Office of the State Attorney, Seminole County Public Schools, Department of Children and Families, Community Based Care of Central Florida, Department of Health, Florida Hospital, and Seminole County Mental Health. Based on national accreditation scores and quality of treatment, Kids House has become a place for Child Advocacy Center staff from across the state and nation to learn best practices.
